Proposals for conference sessions related to the conference theme 'Healthy ecosystems for resilient societies' are now welcome!

The ESP conference sessions will explore different alternatives to human-nature conflicts, lessons learned in their practice, and review the scientific evidence of their effectiveness. Solutions include land use and management options, national policy-based schemes, and the intervention of local institutions. Participants will discuss how an ecosystem services approach can set societies on a path towards inclusiveness, resilience, and environmental justice. This is a big challenge, particularly in a region characterized by socioeconomic inequalities.

We offer you a rich program that address important ecosystem services topics integrating the scientific, practical and policy perspectives. This will allow the participation of a wide range of participant’s profiles, from scientists to policy makers and offers a unique opportunity for policy-science dialogues during high-profiles panels, individual sessions and networking opportunities. Also, practical examples will be invited to the conference and others will be visited during the one-day field trips.

This is your chance to be part of this conference program by sharing your experience and knowledge and organising a session. Please fill in the session proposal template before 8 May (deadline is extended from 2 to 8 May) and send it to conference@es-partnership.org with a CC to Marcela Quintero m.quintero@CGIAR.ORG

The programme committee will perform a selection to incorporate relevant proposals into the final conference programme.

Do not miss this opportunity! We look forward to your great ideas.
